Black-led and Black Women Founders, The Community Midwives National Alliance (CMNA) ℠ is a collaboration of all-level maternal healthcare providers and citizens, which welcomes all midwives, students, consumers, advocates, and midwifery supporters. Every member is valued for their unique contributions, various roles, and participation, helping this organization advance midwifery and access for all. CMNA is the membership and resource organization, and representation for all Community Midwives ℠ serving families in out-of-hospital settings, within the community. This includes all Direct-Entry Midwives, Licensed Midwives, a Certified Community Midwife™, Certified Professional Midwives, Certified Midwives, and traditional midwives who serve their community.
